Join our heathland engagement team for a host of events and activities to celebrate our lowland heath habitat.

Our guided walks, and community events are themed around the rare wildlife, stunning landscape and fascinating history of the heath.

Summer Events and Activities

• 22 July, 15.00-17.00, Paws on the heath

An event for local dog walkers: put your dog through it’s paces on our dog agility course and find out more about becoming a community heathland champion.

• 22 July, 20.30-23.00, Bramshott Common: Nocturnal Wildlife walk

Look out and listen for lots of bats and nocturnal wildlife with the heathland rangers in one of the UK’s most haunted areas apparently!

• 23 July, 10:30-13:30 , Haslemere-Liphook guided Serpent trail walk 

Join Olivia for a walk to take in some spectacular lowland heath and views of the downs as part of the National Park’s ReNature Festival

• 25 July, 11.00-12.30, Broxhead Common: Butterflies and Birds Walk

Join the rangers and keep a look out for some of our rarer heathland species

• 27 July, 09.30-11.30, Ludshott common, Heathland Bioblitz

Discover more about some of the moths and butterflies that call our heaths home with the heathland rangers. Help us to log as many heathland invertebrate species as possible in 60 minutes!

• 8 August, 20.30-22.30, Bramshott, Bats on Bramshott

Discover some of the nocturnal visitors to our heaths with the rangers.

• 10 August, 18.00-19.30, Broxhead Common, Purple carpets on Broxhead

Join the heathland rangers for a gentle stroll around the broxheads and find out more about some of the many special qualities of our 3 local native heather species.

• 20 August, 13.30-16.30, Ludshott Common,  Besom broom workshop

Learn how to make your own traditional besom broom with heritage craftsman  Chris Letchford
